However she also knows how to be a bad ass and a complete pain in the butt. She is normally a quiet person who hangs out by herself unless some one talks to her first.

Alexandra at first rebelled against the Cartier's since she was on her own for so long she had to watch out for herself and only herself. so having people who wanted to take care of her and who wanted her as a part of their family was new to her and she was not sure how she felt about it.
The Cartier's decided to give Alex time to get use to her new surroundings at that time she lived in somewhat of a small house since it was just her. After a bit of time she started to let James and Katherine in to her heart and grew closer to them becoming a family. She was daddy's girl to say the least when he came home from being away it was as if he never left, he would do everything with his daughter.
Alex grew up knowing that her father was off working all the time she did not find out what he did until later on in her life, whenever she asked her mother said he was off saving people. Alex went to school got good grades and was on the honor roll, she studied marital arts and
gymnastics.
Alexandra was fourteen when her mother Katherine died she was killed by a vampire, that was the first time Alex had seen the supernatural and she understood what her father did for a living he to her was a ghost buster. He kicked ghosts butt but not just ghost any supernatural creature. James knew that Alex was no longer safe where she was , alone so he packed them up and started moving. He taught Alex everything he knew about the supernatural, he showed her the weapons needed and how to use them.
Alex still went to school like a normal person even though she only stayed in some places two weeks and others months. She made it through high school and then joined her father in the family business hunting out the supernatural. They had been together hunting for seven years before he was killed by a demon; Alex killed the demon and then continued on hunting after her father was gone. Which brings up to the present day big trouble means Alex’s not far behind.

Alex hears Dean and smiles at him when he pulls her close and then she pushes him away and starts screaming at him."Stop yelling at me you ass. I care for my sister every day your not the only one who does things for family Dean. I took a bullet for my sister along with others things that I would rather leave in the past. so don't give me this bull about family and what I do for mine. I have nearly died more times protecting my sister and family so don't tell me anything. My looks and how I act have nothing to do with it and I do go looking for it it is because I want to. I am tired of waiting for it to strike I want to kill whatever I can when I can."
Her hands start flying at him trying to hit him and she starts hitting him in the chest. "I don't know you because you left me out of the loop you always do. I don't know you because you don't freaking tell me anything. I am not naive and I like it when you save my ass cause it means you care. So I am sorry that you feel like you have to save me all the time."
Alex was furious with Dean at this moment and her tears were becoming more and more. "You don't know me Dean or you know me too well. I am surprised your showing any emotion here since you never do you always make any excuse to stay away from it. yeah so what you went to hell for Sam woo hoo. I don't care your here yes and I am damn sure things happened in hell that it took you forever to even Tell Sam about. Well I am done with this shit I am doing this because my father died saving my life when I was younger and what is wrong with me following in his footsteps tell me."
Alex ran at Dean hitting him and crying and fighting the memories of her life and his leaving. Alex cried into his shirt "You left too weather to protect me or not, I may be naive but I am strong too and I don't need you to protect my ass I need you to teach me how to do the job."
Alex looked up at Dean then layed her head back on his chest wrapping her arms around his waist and holding on tight. She continued to sniffle in to his shirt and murmured " Sorry." Alex pulled away and looked up at him wondering what to say at that moment. " I think I am done yelling now though. Do you really think i am naive or were you just saying that cause you were pissed at me. Your not an ass you know well you can be." Alex smiled at him and wondered what his life would be like if he chose the different path the one where he had his own family. "You know that family you wanted you can have. I mean it may not be exactly normal but you can still have it. "
Alex grinned at that moment with a great idea in her head she " I will make you a deal I promise to be more careful and not go looking for trouble if you promise to let me show you what it is like to have that wish come true even if it is only for the time being."
